Human Rights Internships
There are many opportunities for international interns to work in human rights positions in Dublin. They can work to support the rights outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with leading human rights organizations in Dublin or protect human rights defenders internationally through advocacy campaigns. Additionally, internship opportunities might include researching Ireland’s approach to international human rights as incorporated in their foreign policy at government level or work with think tanks, nonprofits, human rights watchdogs, and lobby groups to protect civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights in Ireland. Specific human right issues in Dublin include: refugee rights, LGBT rights, criminal justice, gender rights, and children’s rights.
