Microfinance Internships

Development finance, and particularly microfinance is increasingly regarding as a powerful tool in the struggle to break cycles of poverty and dependence in poor communities around the world. China is no exception, and in Shanghai, organizations are involved in developing structures and initiatives to give those at the bottom of the pyramid – in many cases China’s ‘rural poor’ – access to credit that will help them move beyond subsistence.
