Selection Criteria

Connect-123’s Social Entrepreneurship program at UCT requires students to innovate, create, and push their personal boundaries in an unfamiliar environment. We carefully select applicants from diverse backgrounds with energy, drive, and a healthy sense of adventure. We look for exceptional volunteer or work experience and references, strong academic records and excellent communication skills.

While the program is open to students from all disciplines, the topics covered would ideally suit those majoring in business, economics, marketing, international relations or political science or anyone with an interest in entrepreneurship.

The University of Cape Town requires a minimum 3.0 GPA for international students.
