Volunteer opportunities and service learning projects in Cape Town, South Africa

Make a difference by taking part in volunteer opportunities in Cape Town and working side by side with locals at schools, hospitals, orphanages and other community and service learning project locations.

Human Rights volunteer positions range from working with gender and refugee rights legislation to HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns to helping hands-on at local refugee camps. Projects range from research to on-the-ground training and support.

Medical and Public Health volunteer opportunities range from conducting medical research to assisting with health care-related workshops in the communities. They also include non-medical care to patients, attending ward rounds and helping the nursing staff.
