Fall Semester: Building Emerging Enterprises |
This innovative program looks at ways in which entrepreneurship can work in emerging market economies, contributing to development while also creating value. How can entrepreneurs tackle key issues in social and economic development? How can pro-poor business strategies expand markets and increase profits?

| The core course, Emerging Enterprises, combines case studies with on-the-ground consulting assignments where students work in teams with community-based social entrepreneurs or micro enterprises. In addition, students take two additional courses: Managing The Future, which focuses on sustainability, leadership, and responsible management, and one other class from a list of current electives. |
• 2008 Program dates: early July to late November
• Application deadline: April 15, 2009
• Fee: $11,950. The program fee includes tuition, housing, orientation, health insurance and select social events throughout the semester. It does not include airfare, books, food, or local transport.
