Students participating in Connect-123 study abroad programs spend one semester in the country, participating in lectures on campus while gaining practical work experience in the field.
During the semester, students complete an intensive core course, including a practical work component, and two related elective courses, for a total of 16 recommended credits. |

Spring Semester: Experiencing Entrepreneurship
This program is a hands-on, one of a kind experience in the challenges of entrepreneurship as well as the special opportunities present in emerging markets. Working in teams, students start their own small business in Cape Town using real seed capital, where they are given the opportunity to experiment and take risks – within a safe environment.
