We work with several volunteer programs in Cape Town, but we are always most excited when we get a call from Melanie Martin at Connect 123 in Cape Town! We know that the caliber of volunteers provided will be exceptionally high, and very well thought through:  it is very apparent that the organisation spends a lot of time matching the volunteer to the project. In fact, the volunteers have been so well matched that we have had volunteers return for another year to help us!

Connect 123′s professionalism, care, thoughtfulness and dedication to both the volunteer and the program shines through. The orientation that the volunteers are provided with is extremely thorough, and I have heard on the grapevine that the social events that are organised for the volunteers are second to none! An added benefit for us is that the accommodation is very central to everything, ensuring that our volunteers can either walk to the particular Shine Centre that they are volunteering in, or they can catch public transport. We are blessed to have such a well run, and well organised organisation send volunteers to us, and we hope that our relationship will continue for as long as we need high quality volunteers to help us with our program….
