Connect-123 Goes on the Road to the Global Internship Conference 2012

Next month sees team members Steven Levy and Eimear Costigan packing their bags for Berkeley, California and the Global Internship Conference. Connect-123 will be exhibiting at the 3 day event, which brings together experiential education professionals, academics, internship coordinators, and internship program service providers from around the globe.
We’re excited to see that many of our existing partners like Michigan State University, Northeastern University, and University of Southern California, will be in attendance. Because I’m more than slightly obsessed with the career value of internships (ask any of my colleagues!), I’m really looking forward to many of the conference presentations, including Clarity, Innovation and Collaboration: Preparing students for the global workplace. Also, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to greatly anticipating spending time in the beautiful Bay Area!
All in all it promises to be a week of inspiring ideas and thought-provoking discussions, as well as an opportunity to re-connect with old acquaintances and make new friends. Roll on June 12th!
