Microfinance Internships

Small, medium and micro-enterprises in Cape Town have access to a number of support structures and agencies – many of whom can provide noteworthy internship opportunities to Connect-123 microfinance interns who have an interest in economic development and entrepreneurship in general and more specifically in development finance. The microfinance sector in particular has offered rewarding internship projects to many previous interns; projects they have worked on include developing micro-franchise opportunities for budding entrepreneurs in disadvantaged communities and assessing the portfolio-at-risk for microfinance institutions.
