Economic Development Internships

The rise and fall of Ireland’s economy has seen the boom days of the ‘Celtic Tiger’ come to an end due to the effects of a global recession. Today, Ireland’s economy is under scrutiny and both the public and private sectors are striving to restore Ireland’s position as a competitor in a global market, as well as strengthen its economy and job market locally.

Both government and the private sector are focused on developing initiatives to create jobs and drive business forward. Opportunities for economic development international interns include working on socio-economic research and economic policy development at government level, or working directly with businesses focusing on employment growth initiatives.
