Human Rights Volunteer Programs in Cape Town

South Africa’s first democratic elections took place in 1994 and the unjust apartheid regime was replaced with a democratic system backed by what has been heralded as the most progressive Constitution in the world. However many human rights issues continue to demand our attention and nonprofits, research institutes and government agencies often don’t have sufficient resources to devote to the necessary projects and initiatives around research, advocacy and education in this area. Human rights volunteers in Cape Town may get involved with agitating for the rights of, among others, refugees, women and children.

Check out our other human rights volunteer programs in Barcelona, Buenos Aires and Dublin.
